I have lived the past few years of my life with these facts – as little as one degree in temperature or humidity can mean a day stuck on the couch or being able to prepare breakfast or dinner for my family or myself.

You now share this in common with me.  We are both living in a time where something minute can change the lives of countless people, in the blink of an eye.

Who do you trust?
Who can you depend on?

What can you depend on?

When I accepted that my body was no longer reliable to me, I sought out a stronger relationship.  My anchor – a rock and that will never change.   He won’t get tired or change His mind. Jesus has felt the same about me, since the day there was a me (incidentally, he feels the same about you).  I know not all people believe in God, but I do, and how comforting to know His unchanging hand  is there for us. It is really hard to trust and believe in someone you don’t really know.  So I had to get to know Him. Growing up in a religious home, provides more access if you are fortunate, but relationship building – a whole different ballgame..

With the breakneck speed things are happening in the world around us- is it unreasonable to have something to depend on and believe in? This song is about the importance of investing in things not blown away by the wind or demolished with a pen stroke.

If that version is a little too knee slapping for you, here’s another <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DiaBWFMHzfc” target=”_blank”>slower just as beautiful version</a>.
If you would rather have your heart cuddled by a gospel rendition <a href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dfYpG4VrOHU” target=”_blank”>The Crabb Family</a> will take you<em> all</em> the way there.
